Having been a part of the Festival of Hope Foundation since its inception, it gives me immense pleasure to today be there for this milestone as we launch our Webzine. I have always had the good fortune of interacting with strong women who have lived through breast cancer. Life’s nightmare as we call it and come out trumps!
Some of the statements that left a mark on my mind and inspired me:

“Once upon a time I said life isn’t fair, but today I say it taught me to live everyday like it’s the last day of my life.”

“It’s ok to cry, you are lucky if you have people to cry with you; it’s more healing than crying alone.”

“Make peace with your past and enjoy the present – be mindful.”

Let’s celebrate Life- #ShaliniSays

(Shalini Aroraa Kochhar Has been a Luxury and Lifestyle Consultant in India for over a couple of decades promoting and launching Luxury Brands. Public Relations and events being her core strengths. She is an Author, Blogger and Columnist and a Television Anchor. Shalini is the founder of The “Women on Top” forum which brings together women entrepreneurs from different walks of life under one umbrella and creates opportunities for them to brainstorm and grow through interdependence in India and globally. Shalini launched the Women on Top forum with a book called ShaliniSays Women on Top of their Game! which features inspiring stories of 100 women entrepreneurs and now she is working on her next which will feature 50 women globally. This initiative of hers was to raise funds for breast cancer victims and raising awareness on breast cancer. A certified Life Coach and Happiness Guru she travels all across the world in her pursuit of transforming lives, one life at a time. She believes if we all do our bit, we can make this world à better place for you and for me and the entire human race. She inspires everyone to “Give Back”. She has won many awards by various organizations for the funds she has been able to raise for social causes. She now lives in Monaco, has her own jewellery brand “Sak’s Monaco” and is definitely putting India on the map as she continues to make a mark there through her work. Shalini leads an inspired life and is an inspiration herself. Her motto – I believe I can fly…I believe I can touch the sky…. So she will! We are privileged to have her on board as the Guest Editor of Festival of Hope, The Webzine.)
